Located in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Golden Ears Painting & Sandblasting provide paint, sandblasting, body work, and graphic installation services for light and heavy machinery in industrial industries. Our team of professionals has provided services in and around BC’s Lower Mainland since 1997.
We use two types of angular media which removes paint and rust quicker than round medias. This will leave the surface finish with a better anchor pattern for coating adhesion. Before sandblasting or painting your project we can steam clean your equipment, removing any grease or dirt that might contaminate your surface area. This is most critical for superior top coat adhesion.
Garnet: Used with our large indoor pressure pot. The media is pressurized in the tank and is forced down to a hose where it is met with 120 psi of air. The media is then passed thru the hose where it is blown from a nozzle to make contact with the substate.
Walnut Shell: iUsed in our small more portable sandblaster , also using 120 psi of air. This media is used on smaller more delicate parts.
We use a wide variety of coatings from Alkyds, Epoxies, Polyurethanes and other industrial coatings. Roll on non-slip deck coatings also available. We apply these coatings with several types of equipment:
Pressure Pot: Used for the more larger jobs as it is more efficient. The paint is mixed and then added to a large pressurized tank where it is then pushed thru a hose with a small amount of air pressure. This paint is then mixed with air at the paint gun which is then atomized for a fine finish.
Gravity Feed: Used on the more delicate of jobs . Paint is mixed in a cup attached to the spray gun and is then fed by gravity to meet with air for atomization.
Our goal is to ensure that your project leaves our facility looking like new. In our body shop we can take care of your repairs, from filling small dents to fiberglass and SMC. Small welding and electrical repairs are also available.
After your project is complete with its new coatings our body shop can also install small decals and graphics. Our team is able to apply your graphics no matter how complex to just about any surface. With precision tools and an eye for perfection to ensure that perfect final touch.

Our facility features the following 60’ heated indoor bays: Paint Booth, Sandblast Booth Prep. Bay and we are conveniently located to serve BC’s Lower Mainland. Our Coquitlam facility is centrally located with easy access from Hwy 1 or the Lougheed Hwy.

We ensure that all materials requiring disposal are handled safely. 3rd party contractors may be engaged as needed to handle hazardous or recyclable material.
